well, to start things off, school started at around 7.20am as usual and guess what time it ended? 5pm! damn. thats like sick man. considering school started at 8am, it meant that we studied like 7 hours can!? minus all the breaks in between of course. but its still a damn 7 hours. went back home extremely shagged. lol.
was looking forward to riding although i was tired. han wei and i went to cut our hair at the 201 saloon. chun hao met up with us and we went for dinner. on the way there, we saw a quarter pipe at the community centre there! haha. playable but i think hemlets are required. went riding after dinner. we hit the streets and rode whatever we could find. its like so fun lah. lols.
first off we went to the a 2 stair set. i realised that those walking stones/massage stones or whatever they are called were installed right in front of the stairs, causing you to be rocketed down the stairs if u were to hop from the stones. i decided to try to 180 up it. but i lost my 180 up stuff. :( gotta get them back someday. i then had this idea to 180 gap the whole set including the stones. lol. it was kinda far back. han wei and chun hao said i was crazy. 1st attempt, i couldn't pull off properly. i put 1 foot down cos the roll back was too fast for me to handle. lol. 2nd attempt, rear tire slipped. 3rd attempt, bailed when pulling off. lol. i'm gonna go back and pull that set off some day. i was so close to doing so man.
moving on, we found this 3 stair pavillion. han wei hopped up and decided to 180 down after awhile. i decided it'll be cool to take a vid of it. and i'm sure glad it did. it turned out nice. haha.
See the vid here.we then found another 3 stair right in front of a police post and took the risk to session there for a little. kinda fun. but we got tired of it after a little while. then chun hao pointed out some thing that could be "180 to half cab"able. the rollback space only allowed like 2 cranks and you had to half cab off. if not you'd overshot. i gave it a few tries and pulled it off after like 4 or 5 times. lol.
i brought chun hao and han wei to the huge gap from the block to grass like around 2 or 3 bikes length? chun hao freaked out on the hop and got "anal"ed by his seat. han wei didn't manage to clear it on the 1st attempt. i tried it and did the gap. han wei gave it a second try and got a flat when his rear hit the edge of the curb. his rim was dented. tough luck man. so we ended up slacking. chun hao was trying his pull offs outside SCH and almost getting it. at tampines mart, he accidentally tried half cabs which was actually possible for him to pull off. lol. a guy who can pull off half cabs but not regular pull offs? what!? hahaha. we then went home sweet home after that.
and all of us agreed. no more gaps with curbs at the edge of the other landing. x)
